The Ultimate Men’s Fight Club (UMFC) was originally formed in 2005 by four gentlemen who shared a passion and common interest in the sport of mixed martial arts.  That interest was the spark that ignited the desire to find other combat sports enthusiasts – and form a group that would congregate for the common cause.

Besides just forming the club to watch MMA fights, the UMFC makes it their business to discuss all of the latest MMA news and ways to expand and add to the greater good of the sport. The four founding members of the club:  Charles, Lyle, Casey and Josh, have recently made the decision that their contribution would include a monthly newsletter!

The club newsletter, appropriately named “The Beat Down”, features original articles written by the founding group members.  The mission of The Beat Down is to provide fellow MMA fans with quality reading material, written in a highly-detailed and focused perspective.

The latest step forward for the UMFC is the mutual agreement to begin networking with NAFMMAF.org.  This decision has both parties looking to increase their reach as well as the strength their impact on this sport. “The Beat Down” writers will be actively contributing articles to the site’s already diverse profile, creating a well-rounded MMA network for both fan and fighter alike. Some of the articles that will be featured on the site will also be appearing in the monthly newsletter and others will be available on here exclusively.

With our eyes looking forward towards the bright future of mixed martial arts and its continued and steady progress, we plan to be right there with it. Throughout that time, our respect, admiration and attention will remain focused on every organization, fighter and fan that made this sport what it is today and what it will become tomorrow.
